Our Board of Professional Advisors is comprised of veteran medical, behavioral health, spiritual health, business and financial compliance experts who provide continuous oversight and strategic guidance. This multi-disciplinary team ensures that every program we offer strictly adheres to the highest in medical and mental health, incorporating the latest evidence-based research to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Dr. Stephen Gordon, our Chief Medical Officer, is a board-certified reconstructive surgeon with an extensive background in clinical leadership and international medicine. His distinguished career spans roles as a Professor of Surgery, healthcare administrator, and specialist in burn and wound care. As the Chief Surgeon for the American Medical Team for Africa (AMTA), Dr. Gordon led a multispecialty surgical team at the Muhimbili Medical Center in Tanzania. He is a Medicare-qualified Surgery Center Inspector and the founder of both Gordon Healthcare Technologies, LLC and Wounded Bird Human Health Services, Inc., a nonprofit healthcare consulting firm. Dr. Sandra Owens serves as our Chief Mental Health Officer. As the Founder and Director of Overt Kindness, Dr. Owens brings decades of clinical and academic expertise to our leadership team. She earned her Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and dedicated over 20 years to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a tenured Professor of Social Work. Throughout her career, Dr. Owens has navigated complex mental health landscapes across public and private inpatient facilities, governmental organizations, and non-profits. A prolific researcher and advocate, she has secured and managed over $5.3 million in grants and contracts. Notably, she spearheaded a $940,000 SAMHSA grant that provided specialized SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) training to 900 students and health professionals across Southern Nevada. Herb Gray is a Managing Partner at Premier Secours and the CEO and Owner of Life Enhancement Services (LES). Under his leadership, LES has grown into a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare agency with a presence in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Texas, North Carolina and Nevada. As the strategic backbone of Premier Secours’ mental health division, LES is distinguished by its CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation and a commitment to evidence-based practices. Herb leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to solving complex mental health challenges, backed by a proven track record of successful treatment outcomes and patient testimonials. Mark Jackson is the CEO of UR First Home Health Services in Las Vegas, NV. A retired U.S. Naval Officer with an MBA and over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations and distribution, Mark leverages his extensive administrative expertise to optimize patient care. He is particularly dedicated to enhancing home health delivery and serving the needs of America’s veterans.

Rev. Dr. Donald E. Chaney combines a background as a retired Air Force Officer with a deep expertise in transpersonal counseling. His academic credentials include a Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry, awarded in 2014 by United Theological Seminary.

Corey Moody, CPA/CVA, brings 35 years of expertise in audit, tax, and advisory services, with a specialized focus on healthcare management. He prioritizes robust internal controls to mitigate risk and implements streamlined systems to drive efficiency in healthcare operations and cost management.
